Acne is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands. This inflammation causes blackheads, pimples or pimples. Acne is most common in areas where there are many sebaceous glands, such as the back and face.

Acne or acne scars can be treated in several ways. Depending on various factors, we will consider which treatment option is best in your case and create a customized plan for it. 

The first option is to prepare the skin at home using appropriate products.

After this the treatment that can be used is determined. At Skincenters the following technologies are mainly chosen for acne:

  • Microneedling
  • Laser treatment
  • Healite
  • Hydrodermabrasion


Preparation and aftercare

If laser treatment is chosen, it cannot be performed if you are tanned by sun, self-tanner, spray tan or tanning bed.
Laser treatment should also not be performed during pregnancy and/or lactation.

Skin reactions such as sensitivity or redness are normal. the severity of the reaction depends on the treatment regimen. 

For a more intense treatment, our Laserat cream (specially designed for after laser treatment) can also be used.
