What does laser treatment do?
Laser treatment is effective for skin rejuvenation and reducing signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines. By combining the Nd:YAP and Er:YAG
laser, the skin is deeply stimulated to produce collagen and elastin. This creates tighter, smoother skin and improves overall skin texture. In addition to the face, the laser can also be used on other parts of the body, such as the neck, décolleté, and hands.

How does laser treatment work?
At Skincenters, we use two different lasers for laser treatment: the Nd:YAP
and the Er:YAG laser. These lasers penetrate different layers of the skin, so we can achieve the best results depending on your skin problem. We always start by cleansing the skin, then use the laser to make tiny holes in the skin.
The laser beam reacts to the moisture in the skin, causing it to evaporate in a controlled manner. This stimulates the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. These are the substances that make the skin firmer and more elastic. Because we use the Nd:YAP
and Er:YAG lasers combined, we can work on multiple layers of skin, providing a more intensive treatment and better results.
Closing we do with a moisturizing and cooling mask.

Who is laser treatment suitable for?
Laser treatment is suitable for both men and women, and can be performed on any skin type and tone. Whether you suffer from skin aging or want to address specific skin problems, laser therapy offers an effective and safe solution that can be tailored to your skin needs.

When will you see results from laser treatment?
After treatment, the skin's regeneration process begins, in which the body produces collagen. This process takes several weeks, so the results become visible gradually. The first effects of the treatment can already be visible after 4 to 6 weeks, with further improvements in the following weeks. Several sessions are often required for optimal results, depending on the nature of the skin problem and the client's goals.

Preparation and aftercare for laser treatment
Redness may occur after the treatment and may last up to about 48 hours. Depending on the intensity of the treatment, the skin may also swell slightly. Swelling can sometimes last a little longer (several days).
As small holes are made in the skin, a kind of "grid" becomes visible, which can turn into small scabs or just fade away with the days. This depends on the intensity of the treatment.
It is important to avoid sun and tanning beds both 6 weeks before and after treatment. We also recommend using a sunscreen with high protection factor.
