Clarity 2 laser for safe and truly lasting results
At Skincenters we use for laser hair removal the best technology available on the market today, the Clarity II laser. This contains an Alexandrite 755nm and an ND-Yag 1064nm wavelength. Thanks to these 2 wavelengths, all hair and skin types are treatable. It is a single-fiber laser, which means that it has no energy loss and is therefore up to 45% stronger than conventional lasers.
Laser hair removal is up to 5x faster compared to IPL treatment due to the larger spot sizes. It is also safer because the Clarity II has a built-in temperature measurement.
The Clarity II laser removes hair in an efficient, fast and virtually painless manner.

Preparation and aftercare for laser hair removal
It is important to know that a longer period before starting laser hair removal, you may no longer depilate with wax, epilation & wax. You may still shave up to max. 2 days before the treatment.
Treatment cannot be performed when:
- You are tanned by sun, self-tanner, spray tan or tanning bed
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
After the treatment, a reaction of the skin is possible, including redness, slight swelling,... For this we use a specially developed cream at Skincenters, Laserat. This provides immediate cooling and faster recovery after the treatment.
Sun exposure should be avoided and the application of SPF50 is necessary.

At Skincenters we always have the latest technologies at our disposal. For example, we have recently introduced a Single Fiber laser for laser hair removal. With a Single Fiber laser, our Clarity II, there is no energy loss and is therefore up to 45% stronger than traditional lasers such as diode or IPL. Also, the fiber laser has high power and the pulse duration has a wide range from very short to long, which can remove both light and dark hairs. Thanks to the two wavelengths, all skin types are treatable. Treatment is up to 5x faster compared to IPL treatment due to the larger spot sizes. It is also safer because the Clarity II has a built-in temperature measurement.
During treatment, we use cold air to minimize discomfort. The treatment is usually perceived as not painful.
Medical reports speak of a successful result with permanent hair reduction between 80 and 95%. In the unlikely event that hair does return, it will be much less, thinner and lighter in color. New hairs can always appear, which would also appear if no laser was used. An annual maintenance is therefore recommended.

Yes, both men and women can be treated. The most common areas for permanent hair removal in men are the back and chest.
The treatment can be performed in the summer, but it is not recommended to sunbathe immediately before or after the treatment.
You may not wax or epilate during the treatment process & you must stop this at least 3 weeks before the first treatment.
Shaving is allowed up to 3 days before treatment.
A temporary reaction is possible after the treatment. We therefore recommend using Laserat cream afterwards to reduce irritation.
If irritation occurs, it is also best to watch out for the first 24h-48h with bathing, sauna, swimming,...
From the age of 18 you can opt for permanent hair removal. If you wish to do this earlier, you will need permission from a parent.
No, in Belgium the treatment is not reimbursed.
A mild reaction is always possible.
Redness and/or irritation are common reactions and therefore normal. These disappear on average after 2h to max 48h.
