Scar removal

Scar treatment
A scar occurs when tissue in the skin is damaged and repairs itself, such as after surgery, an injury or a skin problem such as acne. Although scar tissue replaces damaged tissue, it is not of the same quality and can be both visually and functionally disturbing, especially in visible areas such as the face.
At Skincenters, we offer advanced treatments for different types of scars - from pigmented and depigmented scars to deep and raised scars. Whether they are scars from burns, injuries or acne, our latest aesthetic technologies can treat scars even when the acne is still active.

Frequently Asked Questions/FAQ
Scars can be safely removed using a laser treatment or microneedling treatment. These treatments create collagen in the skin, making the scar smoother and more supple.
It is best to treat a scar as soon as possible. Young scars are therefore easier to treat than an older scar. Older scars can be removed, but this may require several treatments.
The starting price for scar removal adhv laser or microneedling is €99. The price depends on the type and size of the scar. An exact price will be determined during an intake interview.
Treatment is performed in 3 to 6 sessions, depending on the type of scar and the skin's response to treatment.
A laser treatment for scars takes an average of 15 to 30 minutes.
