Skincenters uses the best technologies currently available on the market for its aesthetic treatments so that you can achieve results in the short term and enjoy comfort and safety. Discover the five essential technologies for your beauty:
L.A.S.E.R. stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. A laser device emits light beams that can penetrate the skin by a few millimetres and serve as an energy source. The light beams are categorised according to their wavelength, ranging from ultraviolet through all other colours to infrared.
In aesthetic treatments, the laser can aim a light beam at a target spot on the skin (chromophore). Chromophores (e.g. haemoglobin of red blood cells, melanin that pigments the skin, etc.) that are targeted in this way are heated, solidified or destroyed.
Intense pulse light
Unlike the laser, which uses a light beam consisting of a single wavelength, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses a light beam consisting of several wavelengths. IPL is also known as flash lamp.
While laser technology is mainly used for very targeted treatments, IPL is used for more varied treatments. IPL has a broad spectrum of light, ranging from ultraviolet through other colours to infrared. Filters are used to focus its action and treat redness, wrinkles, scars, spots, hair etc. just like a laser.
Bipolar Radio Frequency
Bipolar Radio Frequency is a painless technique that uses the energy produced by radio frequency to reduce or eliminate the effects of ageing. This innovative technology helps to firm the skin in depth by stimulating the production of new collagen and tightening existing collagen.
The new collagen will thus regenerate the skin permanently. Bipolar RF is often used to treat sagging skin, to tighten the skin and to firm the skin tissue in depth.
Ultrasound is now widely used in both the medical and aesthetic fields.
The waves provide a micro-massage in the skin and warm it up. The ultrasound waves also "push" active substances such as vitamins, minerals and collagen through the first skin layers to deeper skin layers where the cell metabolism takes place and the active substances that we would have applied to the skin earlier do their work. This also improves the removal of waste products and moisture.
A human body is a bioelectrical organism. It literally works on electricity and that electricity is spread through the body thanks to electromagnetic fields. The balance of our entire body depends on these fields, from muscle development to fat burning, painlessly, risk-free and without downtime.
